nhouse: Philip Nikandrov Philip, originally from ST Petersburg, has worked on a wide portfolio of large scale projects and competitions for RMJM since 1997 in Russia, CIS and the Middle East. His previous pre-RMJM portfolio includes various projects and masterplan competitions for the city of St Petersburg. Philip is currently working on the 140,000m2 multifunctional complex on plots 2&3 of the Moscow City business district as well as Gazprom City. His other recent projects include the masterplan for a 400,000m2 Emirates Towers extension project in Dubai UAE and the competition winning masterplan for Dubai Olympic Village. Rodger Wightman Roger joined RMJM in 2003 and is the managing director of our busy London office. With more than 20 years experience in large multi-disciplinary practices, Roger has a strong track record of large-scale urban design and mixed-use projects, commercial offices and leisure buildings and has in-depth knowledge of the complex planning and construction procedures. Roger is currently leading projects across the UK including a mixed-use development at Princes Dock Liverpool and as residential-led mixed-use scheme at Swiss Cottage in London. Tony Kettle Educated at Edinburgh College of Art, Tony Kettle joined RMJM in 1989 and was appointed Director in 1997, then Managing Director for the UK in 2005. He has led the design of a number of high-profile projects in both the UK and abroad. These include the award-winning Falkirk Wheel, the Dubai International Conference Centre, 'Visit Northumberland' Museum at Woodhorn and more recently the City Palace Tower in Moscow. Tony is particularly interested in the role of art in extending the boundaries of architecture, engineering and landscape design and was instrumental in the creation of the RMJM Award for Art and Architecture at Edinburgh College of Art. Nathan Ward Nathan is a senior architect and urban designer, with an international background having worked throughout Europe, China, and the Middle East. He has a wide background producing scheme designs and feasibility studies for a variety of scales and functions ranging in scale from very large mixed-use urban regeneration schemes, to site-specific public realm improvements, museums, churches, library's, residential and office developments. Nathan believes passionately in the importance of creating good quality sustainable 'places' with a positive sense of identity, amenity and adaptability. Clifford Francis Clifford is an associate and has a substantial experience as a project leader on a range projects, from residential and industrial developments through to offices, leisure, sports and prison projects. His project experience has been equally split between alterations, adaptations and refurbishment of old or listed buildings as well as new build developments. Clifford's recent project experience includes new research laboratories and the complex phased refurbishments of occupied laboratories on a 'live' site. Grant Blindell Grant is an associate architect with a broad range of experience since qualification and a particular knowledge of residential design and masterplanning. His attention to detail, passion for design and communication skills lead to well conceived and executed architectural solutions. He has multi-disciplinary practice experience with project leading skills and a specialist interest and knowledge of environmentally sensitive design. Simon Richards Simon is a Principal of LAND landscape, his recent experience has included a number of high profile public-realm design projects including the design for Port Dundas and Custom House Quay in Glasgow, the production of a public realm strategy and masterplan for the redevelopment of Leith Docks and Waterfront Plaza, Edinburgh and the design of the streetscape and masterplanning of Southside and Nicolson square also in Edinburgh. In other key projects he is involved in the masterplanning of university campuses in Sheffield, High Wycombe and Edinburgh as well as the detail design of major a new development for the Medical Research Council in Cambridge.
